DLB Electric Inc. did an amazing job on my home. I recently purchased a house built in 1890. When I bought it, I had no idea how dangerous the wiring was. The amperage needed to be increased from 60 to 100 amp and I needed a new box to support it. When Derek came to inspect the house he showed me all the knob and tube. I was surprised to find the whole house was wired with it. Derrick helped me understand what needed to be done and explained the best way to deal with it.

The electricians were very helpful in explaining what they were working on and asked me what I needed. They ended up redoing all the wiring for lights and outlets. They even added additional outlets to make the house more functional. Not only did they have to contend with the knob and tube, but there were no overhead lights or light switches in any of the bedrooms. My bathroom didn’t even have an outlet.

The whole job took 3 days. There were 2 electricians on site. They were very respectful of my home. They took care to clean up after themselves (even though it can be difficult when dealing with plaster) and allowed my dog to roam around the house freely. They even gave her water and let her out on her leash. They did all of that while I was at work. I was worried about my fridge and freezer thawing but they were careful to make sure that wasn’t an issue.

I could not be happier with the customer service and the workmanship from DLB Electric. Their prices are reasonable and the results are amazing. I would recommend them to everyone.
